Inspired by the collection's campaign and product visuals, my team and I developed designs for global activations supporting the Travel Retail Exclusive 2024 Collection, NARS Voyage.
NARS VOYAGE POP UP
Hainan, China - 2024
To continue the travel theme of the collection, my team and I developed a pop up design reminiscent of an exclusive travel lounge, where guests can stop by and get to know the collection and some of the brand's best-selling franchises. The structure is anchored by a central pillar that houses hidden storage, features a "departures" board with the event location and showcases the new collection on a baggage claim-inspired tiered conveyor belt. This area is framed by two semi-circle "lounge bars", which double as make-up stations for guests to try on the collection.
To promote the collection in China, a local omnichannel campaign was developed, where customers where able to begin the experience through various digital channels like WeChat. In addition to virtual try-ons, product exploration and direct purchase options, a NARS Voyage Boarding Pass was granted to each user. By completing certain activities and games, they were able to earn miles that could be redeemed for samples and prizes at the Hainan pop up.
Once at the pop-up, guests were able to check in to the Nars Lounge with their boarding pass and begin their immersive experience. This included AI-assisted product exploration through a face scan, taking selfies at the themed photo op, receiving flash makeover services with every purchase, attending live demonstrations by celebrity make-up artists and redeeming the miles earned digitally for samples and prizes.
